Good News: Vaccines Outperform Expectations, People Want the Vaccine, and Saving Pets from a Fire

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  The first wave of data is in for the Covid vaccines . . . and it’s VERY promising.  The vaccines are actually doing BETTER than scientists predicted, with between 85% and 92% effectiveness being reported in different countries.

2.  The number of people who want to get the Covid vaccine as soon as possible is finally going up.  In a new poll, 55% of adults say they now want the vaccine or they’ve already gotten it.  That’s up from 34% in December.

3.  Two police officers in Central Islip, New York saved a cat and a dog from a burning house on Friday.  An 11-year-old boy and 13-year-old boy were home alone and when they got out safely, they told the officers about their pets.

4.  Amusement parks in California, including Disneyland, are on pace to finally open again sooner than expected.  They can open on April 1st with limited capacity.
