Care Bowls Fundraiser

Grab a hot bowl of soup before the Ag Parade downtown Moses Lake!

Care Moses Lake will be serving up a hot bowl of soup at Settler’s Natural Market, located at 118 W. 3rd Avenue downtown Moses Lake, from 5-7pm. Come on down, shop our local merchants, enjoy the Agricultural Parade activities and enjoy the lighted parade that starts at 7pm on Friday, December 2^nd, 2022.

 Proceeds from this event support the Care Bowls program that feeds a hot meal to the Open Doors Sleep Center on a weekly basis. Bowls of soup are $5. We will be offering chili, white chicken chili, squash, potato, clam chowder, chicken meatball and chicken noodle soups. The following have donated soup, supplies or money towards this event: Michael’s on the Lake, ­Grocery Outlet, Taco El Rey, Lioness Club, AIC Insurance, Umpqua Bank, Movement Mortgage, Immanuel Lutheran Church and ­Settler’s Natural Market.

 Organizer and Founder of Care Moses Lake, Michaelle Boetger says, “The Agricultural Parade downtown is the perfect time to let the community know about feeding those in need during these cold winter months. No one should go hungry and we can all do something to help those who need it the most. And, the community can fill their stomach with a hot bowl of soup. We hope everyone will stop in, grab a bowl and enjoy the downtown festivities. Thanks so much to our soup donors, financial donors and Settler’s for letting us serve in their space.”
