Good News: Lost Wallets, Lost Kids, and Lost Dogs

Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A family in Arizona found a lost wallet at the bottom of a river, and got it back to its rightful owner.  It turned out a woman lost it in the same river more than 28 YEARS ago in 1995.  It still had her driver’s license in it, along with her Sears and JCPenney credit cards.  They say it was like finding a “little time capsule.”

2.  An 11-year-old Florida girl was reported missing last Friday.  But she’s okay after a police dog found her hiding in a public bathroom, and greeted her with a “big slobbery kiss.”  (Here’s the video.)

3.  And in other dog news:  A woman in Milwaukee was frantic when her elderly dog . . . a 16-year-old Shih Tzu named “Bear” . . . went missing last week.  But then she got a text message letting her know he was okay, and he just went to the bar.

He showed up at a popular drinking spot down the street called Finks.  A friend-of-a-friend was there and sent the owner a photo.  A group of women were bar-hopping and apparently found him outside.  The bar says he was very popular.  (Here’s a photo.)
