Good News: Dogs, Gamers, and “Cracker Jills”

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Major League Baseball starts up today, and the makers of Cracker Jacks did something pretty cool for it.  They’re selling special “CRACKER JILL” bags at ballparks across the country.

You can also get a bag by donating at least $5 to the Women’s Sports Foundation while supplies last.  They even reworked the words to “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” to help promote it.

2.  A gamer in California posted a photo after a stray bullet came through his window . . . and the gaming headset he had on saved his life.

3.  A disabled veteran in Florida named Tavaris Washington just got his service dog back after it went missing last month.  The dog ended up in a shelter, and someone adopted him a few days later.  At first, it sounded like Tavaris might not get him back.  But local police helped iron it out, and he’s home now.

4.  How’s this for dumb luck?  A guy in Maryland just hit the lottery for $25,000 . . . after playing the numbers on his younger brother’s license plate.
