Join us for a special film series in honor of Women’s History Month. Starting on Thursday, March 7, 2024, and continuing until Saturday, March 30, we will screen films showcasing the remarkable achievements of four historical women who triumphed against adversity. The featured women are Sandra Day O’Connor, Amy Tan, Helen Keller, and Marian Anderson. These films are FREE and will be presented on Thursdays and Saturdays at 1 p.m. at the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center, located at 401 S. Balsam St.

Visit the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center beginning March 30 through May 11 to see the work of native Floridian Folk Artist Rhonda K’s paintings in the Ramon Cerna Community Gallery. The Museum is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is located at 401 S. Balsam St.

Join the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center for their gallery opening reception on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Come explore a world of nostalgia, wonder, and mystery as you explore the work of Chad Yenney and Will Bow. Chad Yenney’s medium is primarily mixed media collage with works on paper, in resin and on canvas or panel. His pieces deal with joy, loss, rebirth, and decay, with an emphasis on surreal interpretations of social and environmental issues of our times.

Will Bow’s work tends to focus on the beauty of “lonesome” forgotten times and objects, and on our various perceptions of the human experience. Will primarily works in watercolor on a multitude of surfaces, including canvas, wood, and sometimes paper, mixing in acrylic and latex paints as well as graphite, chalk, and colored pencils.

In addition to the two artists’ solo works, there will also be a couple collaborative pieces that could be read as a narrative of call and response. Light refreshments will be served, this is a FREE event. The Museum is located at 401 S. Balsam St.
