Wenatchee Youth Baseball Team Headed To Cal Ripken World Series
The Wenatchee All Stars under-12 youth baseball team is headed to the World Series!
The Cal Ripken Major/60 World Series in Phenix City, Alabama, that is.
With two one-run victories Saturday, (4-3 over Latah County, 7-6 over Ellensburg) Wenatchee won the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament to secure a spot in the Cal Ripken Marjor/60 World Series.
The tournament begins on Thursday, August 2nd and goes through Thursday, August 9th in Alabama. While Cal Ripken does cover some of the costs for travel to the World Series, the team is responsible for expenses including lodging, food and travel for players to and from the games, and chaperones are the responsibility of the families/team.
They need your help to take the trip of a lifetime! Click HERE to donate to the team’s GoFundMe campaign. You may also make a tax-deductible donation directly through Wenatchee Youth Baseball.
