Flashback to Kurt Cobain Being Shocked by Madonna’s Ticket Prices

Tickets to Madonna’s new tour go on sale today, and we found a 1993 Nirvana interview showing Kurt Cobain’s shocked face when he hears she’s charging $50 a ticket.  Nirvana’s are around $17.  And their take-home is about $5 a ticket.

Obviously, things have changed in 30 years.  And Ticketmaster’s hated “dynamic pricing” didn’t exist.  By the way, Rolling Stonesays ticket prices for Madonna’s new tour are ranging from $64 to over $2,000.  Good luck finding one for $64.
