Tips For Teenagers

A person’s teen years are some of the roughest. During those seven years a person effectively transitions from childhood to adulthood. Here’s some advice for teenagers from strangers on the internet.

• The coolest thing you can do is stop trying to be cool.

• Brush your teeth and floss every day.

• Learn about nutrition and learn to cook.

• Say no to peer pressure and say yes to more experiences.

• Stand up to bullies — even if you’re not the one being picked on.

• Focus on being kind, not cool.

• If you’re going to go to a lot of concerts, wear ear protection.

• When you get out of the shower don’t put on the same clothes.

• Getting rich off social media or YouTube or streaming is like trying to go pro in a sport — it’s not a real plan.

• Get in the habit of being a volunteer and always be looking for new volunteer opportunities.

• Find someone who can mentor you about money: saving it, investing it, donating it to charity.

• The first two years of college are a giant test of time management skills. Just go to class, do the assignments and you will be fine.

• Be active every day in some way.Tip
