The 10 happiest states in the U.S. are:  Hawaii . . . Maryland . . . Minnesota . . . Utah . . . New Jersey . . . Idaho . . . California . . . Illinois . . . Nebraska . . . and Connecticut.

The 10 LEAST happy are:  West Virginia . . . Louisiana . . . Arkansas . . . Kentucky . . .  Alabama . . . Mississippi . . . Oklahoma . . . Tennessee . . . New Mexico . . . and Missouri.

Right in the middle, the 25th state . . . which apparently doesn’t lean happy or unhappy . . . is:  Wyoming.
