The 10 Rudest Sports Fan Behaviors

It’s frustrating to spend an arm-and-a-leg to buy tickets to a sporting event . . . and be surrounded by UNRULY FANS who make it difficult to enjoy the game.

A new survey asked people for the RUDEST fan behaviors, and the top response is:  Standing and blocking your view.  57% said that’s the worst.

The rest of the Top 10 are . . .

Getting drunk . . . cutting in line . . . heckling . . . blocking the aisle . . . not attending to their children . . . using profanity . . . “squatting” in seats that aren’t theirs . . . repeatedly leaving their seats . . . and talking on the phone.

Of course, sporting events CAN have a great communal vibe . . . but a few boneheads can ruin it for a whole section.  And some people would argue that CERTAIN fan bases have more boneheads than others.  Not to name-names.

(Technically, this survey was about NFL fans . . . but it seems universal across most major sporting events.)
