Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  A nun in Chicago raised over $100,000 for her church’s food bank by running a full marathon on a treadmill.  Her name is Sister Stephanie Baliga, and she ran Division 1 track in college.  She finished in 3 hours and 33 minutes, and it might be a world record.  Guinness doesn’t have a record yet for fastest treadmill marathon by a woman.  She’s still waiting to find out if her run qualified.

2.  You may have heard about this last week, but there’s one detail that’s crucial.  A Taco Bell worker in Tennessee did CPR and saved a guy’s life in the drive-thru.  And she risked her own life in the process.  Her name is Sonja Frazier, and she has a lung condition that makes her high-risk for COVID-19.  But she says she didn’t even think about it.  She just knew he needed help.

3.  A small team of rock climbers helped a friend with muscular dystrophy scale part of El Capitan in Yosemite on Sunday.  They’d been planning some large-group climbs this summer, but canceled them because of the pandemic.  Then they realized it would only take four people to help him climb El Cap.  So they did that instead.

4.  A 73-year-old guy in Minneapolis recently got $150,000 in PPP money by mistake.  He figured someone at his bank would notice the error, but they didn’t.  So he reached out to let them know.  He joked that he thought about taking the money and moving to Mexico.  But he knew a small business owner somewhere was waiting on the money, and wanted to make sure they got it.
