More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak
Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .
1. A Cleveland couple went through with their wedding and did a small backyard ceremony last week. But they had to cancel the reception. So they donated all the food to a women’s shelter, and helped serve it while they were still in their gown and tuxedo.
2. A six-year-old girl in St. Louis named Paris Williams was inspired by a children’s book called “One Boy’s Magic”, and wanted to do something nice for people. So she got her mom to start a charity called Paris Cares that’s been getting food to homeless people during the pandemic. And she puts notes and drawings in every bag.
3. A woman who’s been quarantined with her elderly parents posted a great video of them lying in bed, singing about how much they love each other. They’re 96 and 92, and they’ve been married 73 years.
My pal @KalaDeeDC has been quarantined since March with her 90+ parents, Frannie and Eddy, who have been married nearly 73 years. Do yourself a favor and watch and be reminded in this difficult time what true love and kindness actually looks like. pic.twitter.com/dEE2MVw0Ym

4. A single mom in New Jersey named Lisa Mollet works as a waitress. So she didn’t have a job from March to June. Then just when it came back, her car broke down. So it’s been tough. But now she’s all set after two regulars found out about it . . . had an extra car . . . and gave it to her as a tip.
