More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  Walt Disney World pulled $20,000 in coins from its wishing wells and fountains, and used the money to serve Thanksgiving dinner to hundreds of homeless people in Central Florida this weekend.

2.  Parts of Canada already have plenty of snow.  So instead of a snowman, a woman in Saskatchewan made a giant snow dragon in her front yard.  She’s encouraging people to come by and take pictures with their kids, because we, quote, “need more things to make us smile these days.”

3.  An old folks’ home in Canada got creative to keep people entertained and happy.  Someone said they missed being able to go hunting.  So the nurses used Christmas trees as a makeshift forest . . . dressed up as reindeer . . . and let residents hunt them with Nerf guns.

4.  A couple in Chicago had to cancel their 150-person wedding.  So they got married at City Hall instead, and used their $5,000 catering deposit to deliver Thanksgiving meals to 200 people last week.
