More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  Millions of voters braved the pandemic to vote on Tuesday.  And the group “Pizza to the Polls” made sure they didn’t starve.  They say they delivered 1.3 MILLION free pizzas, burgers, and other snacks to polling sites.

2.  The University of Oxford posted a great video explaining how they and other groups are coming up with vaccines in record time.  The average vaccine takes 15 years.  And before this, the record was four years for the mumps vaccine.

3.  Here’s a fun activity where you can social distance.  A 100-year-old man near San Diego just set a world record for his age . . . by throwing a frisbee golf disc 189 feet.

4.  Here’s the most festive pandemic wedding we’ve seen.  A 20-year-old woman in England named Tilly Christmas just married her boyfriend, 20-year-old Kieran White.  And they’re both hyphenating and taking each other’s name.  So yes . . . it was the “White-Christmas” wedding.
