Good News: Stuffed Animals, Canceled Vacations, and Heroic Teens
Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .
1. A teenager in New Hampshire saved the day when a runaway boat started spinning in circles last week. 17-year-old Brady Procon hopped on the back of a jet ski and jumped onto the moving boat to stop it. He said he didn’t think about the risks, he just went for it. Adding, “It was fun, I’d do it again.”
2. A 75-year-old woman in Pennsylvania named Donna Osborne was supposed to fly to Florida for a vacation. But her flight got delayed multiple times while she was at the airport. So she decided to skip the trip and went home.
And it’s a good thing she did, because she ended up buying a lottery ticket and won $5 MILLION. Now she’s planning a much bigger vacation to Alaska. She also recently beat cancer, so things are really looking up for her.
3. A five-year-old girl from England recently lost her favorite stuffed animal on a trip to Disney World and had to go home without it. But Disney employees got in touch two weeks later to let her parents know someone found it. It arrived in the mail a few days later. (Here’s a photo.)
