Good News: Nurses, Preschool Teachers, and Golden Corral Bathrooms
Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .
1. A five-year-old foster kid in New York named Ezra has been waiting for a liver transplant. Now he’s got a donor after his former preschool teacher stepped up.
Her name is Carissa Fisher. She got tested but didn’t tell his foster parents until she found out she was a perfect match. She showed up at their door last week, and it’s on video. The surgery is set for later this summer. (Here’s the video.)
2. A woman in Arkansas gave birth in the bathroom of a Golden Corral and didn’t even know she was pregnant. She and her son Tamaar are both doing great. Golden Corral posted a photo and joked he’s their youngest fan ever.
3. A couple in Orlando was planning to get married last month right before their first baby was due. But their son came early at just 33 weeks.
So the nursing staff found a chaplain last-second . . . made a veil out of gauze . . . and held a wedding right there in the hospital. Their son Reggie was born three hours later. (Here’s a photo, and an interview.)
