Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Two best friends who got separated as kids during the Holocaust recently reunited on Zoom, 82 years after they last saw each other.  Both assumed the other had died during World War Two, but they never stopped looking.  Now they talk once a week.

2.  An organic food company called Nature’s Path recently discontinued a line of frozen waffles.  And a mom in Canada panicked because they’re the only thing her nine-year-old autistic son will eat.  So the company tracked down all of the remaining boxes that were out there and delivered them to her for free.  And they’re working on a special at-home recipe for her.  So when they do finally run out, she can recreate them.

3.  Here’s another story about kids helping seniors get the vaccine.  A 12-year-old in New York named Sam Keusch started a site last month called VaccineHelper.com.  And it’s already helped over 1,600 people get appointments.

4.  And here’s a story about seniors helping kids:  A charity in France has been pairing elderly people up with kids around the world who are trying to learn French.  They have weekly chats on Zoom, where the students get to practice talking to native French speakers.  And it’s also helping the seniors feel less isolated during the pandemic.
