Good News: Free Sleds, a KFC Good Deed, and Europe’s Oldest Person Beats the Virus

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A 70-year-old woman has been working at the same KFC in Toronto for 46 YEARS.  So a guy who’s been going there since he was a kid decided to raise money for her online.  Last we checked, it was up over $20,000.

2.  Here’s another nice stat to see:  The number of Americans who got vaccinated last week outnumbered new cases almost 10 to 1.  959,000 new cases were reported, and just over NINE MILLION people got the vaccine.

3.  We’ve heard about the “Little Free Library” trend that’s taking off around the country.  That’s where you set up a box in your neighborhood, and anyone can take or leave a book.  Now a town in Michigan is doing the same thing, but with sleds.

4.  The oldest person in Europe just beat the virus.  A nun in France named Lucile Randon tested positive on January 16th, but was asymptomatic.  Tomorrow is her 117th birthday.
