Good News: Free Diapers in Tennessee, and Twins Who Love Sea World
Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .
1. It’s very expensive to have kids in America, but Tennessee is offering some relief. Tennessee’s Medicaid program will start covering 100 diapers a month for newborns, infants, and one-year-olds.
According to the National Diaper Bank Network, 92% of the families receiving diapers in Tennessee ARE working, and are still unable to afford enough of them. Tennessee is the first state to help families with free diapers.
2. Twin brothers in Texas became OBSESSED with SeaWorld San Antonio as little kids. They’d visit EVERY Sunday with their parents, and even attended the weeklong summer camps they offered.
Now the twins are 23, they’re out of college, and both have their dream jobs, working full-time at SeaWorld as “senior zoological specialists.”
3. A man was traumatized after losing his dog in the Outback. (In Australia . . . not the steakhouse.) A helicopter pilot who works as a cattle herder agreed to help, but said locating the dog would be like “finding a needle in a haystack.”
But after just 30 minutes of flying, there was a breakthrough: The pilot saw a set of dog tracks, and the dog, Rocky, was spotted shortly afterward, safe.
