Good News: Cats, Grandpas, and Free Tickets to Disneyland

Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Disneyland honored a ticket for free admission that a guy got in 1985 and saved for 39 years.  He recorded his 18-year-old daughter using it to get in.  The guy at the ticket booth had to call his boss over to make sure it was legit.

The dad won the free pass while visiting Disneyland for their 30th anniversary on August 28th, 1985.  He put it in a scrapbook and forgot about it until his daughter said she wanted to go, and mentioned how expensive tickets are now.  They range from $104 to $194, depending on when you go.  (Here’s the video.)

2.  Two cops in south Texas rescued a cat last Thursday after it managed to get a jar stuck on its head, and there’s chest-cam footage of the whole thing.  They got the jar off, then got it to a vet.  They nicknamed it “Jar Jar”.  (WARNING:  The video has an S-word at :55.)

3.  A mom in North Carolina posted a montage of her young son freaking out every time his grandpa comes to visit.  He shows up every Thursday, and it’s VERY exciting.  (Here’s the video.)
