2.  A 15-year-old kid in Arizona is lucky to be alive after a bear got into his family’s cabin and attacked him last Thursday.  His older brother chased the bear off and saved his life.  He’s got some cuts and scrapes but should be okay.

3.  A high school senior in Boston won a $10,000 scholarship last week, beating out five other finalists.  But then the anonymous donor behind it decided they deserved to win too, and put up another 50 grand.  So they all got $10,000 each.
