Good News: A Spanish Flu Nurse, a New Car, and a Long-Lost Wallet

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A Chick-fil-A employee in Wisconsin recently won a new car in a raffle . . . and then gave it to a co-worker who only had a bike and needed it more.

2.  The Associated Press talked to a nurse practitioner named Sigrid Stokes who’s vaccinating people in California.  She 76 but didn’t let the pandemic force her into retirement.  And they talked to her because her mom was also a nurse who went into medicine after caring for Spanish flu patients in 1918.

3.  A 91-year-old Navy veteran in San Diego just got his wallet back . . . 53 years after he lost it in Antarctica.  Someone found it in 2014 when a research station down there got demolished.  And it took a while to track him down.

4.  A couple in Tampa who run a mobile pizza kitchen almost had to shut down after someone stole their pizza truck in November.  But then their customers raised over $11,000 online to help buy them a new one.
