Good News: A Huge Diamond, a Pregnant Hero, and an Unlikely Lawyer
Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .
1. A woman who’s five months pregnant saved three kids from drowning in Lake Michigan the other day.
2. A 26-year-old guy from Washington went to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas, hoping to find something to use for an engagement ring. And he ended up finding a massive 2.2 carat diamond.
3. The ASPCA says the vast majority of pets adopted during the pandemic have NOT been returned. 90% of dogs and 85% of cats are still in the home that adopted them.
4. Back in 2005, a high school dropout named Edward Martell got busted for drugs in Michigan. And he had a rap sheet, so his judge could have put him away for 20 years. But instead, he gave him one last chance and three years’ probation.
And now 16 years later, he’s a college graduate. And earlier this month, the same judge swore Edward in as a LAWYER after he passed the Michigan State Bar.
