Good News: 100 – Year – Old Grooms , Perfect Attendance Records , and Mohammad Ali
Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .
1. A 15-year-old girl got attacked by a shark on the Florida panhandle on Friday. But luckily, several nurses and two doctors happened to be on the beach . . .including a doctor named Mohammad Ali. He and the other doctor tied tourniquets to her leg and hand and saved her life.
2. A 100-year-old World War Two vet named Herold Terens just married his 96-year-old fiancée near Normandy, France. Their wedding was on Saturday, two days after the 80th anniversary of D-Day. He didn’t storm the beaches, but repaired planes so they could rejoin the battle. He went to France 12 days later to bring rescued POWs back to England.
3. A kid in West Virginia named Wyatt Chestnut just graduated high school with a perfect attendance record. He never missed a day of school from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. He’s committed to the Air National Guard and is about to head off to college to study criminal justice and biology. He wants to be a Federal Game Warden someday.
