A Manhattan jury found Donald Trump GUILTY yesterday on all 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

He’ll be sentenced on July 11th.  But he’s definitely going to appeal, which could push the date back.  He COULD get jail time, but at this point it’s anybody’s guess.  Each count carries a 4-year sentence, but the most he’d get is 20 years.

A CNN legal analyst suggested, quote, “He could do probation.  He could do community service where he has to pick up trash on the subways.”

Trump is now the first former president who’s also a convicted felon, but he CAN still run for president . . . even if he gets jail time.

He called the verdict a “disgrace”, and called himself, quote, “A very innocent man.”  He’s going to speak today at 11:00 a.m. at Trump Tower in New York.

So far, President Biden hasn’t addressed the verdict, but his campaign had several messages, including the fact that Trump has to be defeated at the ballot box, and he’ll probably raise record amounts for his campaign off this verdict.

Meanwhile, Stormy’s husband said she feels vindicated that the jury believed she was telling the truth.

He also called the verdict, quote, “a big weight off her shoulders.”

(Hollywood was overjoyed by yesterday’s verdict. Most of Hollywood, anyway.  You can check out some celebrity reactions here.)
