Covid Chaos: A Guy Claims He Paid Too Much to Get Kicked Out of Disney World Over Covid Protocols
Here’s a fresh round-up of Covid insanity . . .
1. A guy from Louisiana wound up getting arrested for trespassing after he refused to get his temperature checked at Disney World. And he told the cops he shouldn’t get arrested because he’d paid too much money to be there.
Quote, “I paid $15,000. You can’t trespass me for paying $15,000.”
2. The pandemic has been horrible news for lesbian bars . . . there are only 15 left in the entire U.S. There are about 1,000 gay bars or ones that cater to the entire LGBTQ crowd.
There was already a trend before the pandemic where lesbian bars were struggling for a number of reasons, from dating apps to women having more trouble getting business loans. Then the pandemic hit, business dropped, and the trend sped up.
3. A guy who was trying to get attention by filming himself driving through Vancouver, British Columbia spouting anti-mask propaganda on a megaphone got his window smashed out by a guy on a bicycle.
4. Here are the updated stats on vaccinations and Covid cases as of last night . . .
Covid vaccinations in the U.S.: 106.2 million people have received at least one dose, or 32% of the population. 61.4 million people, or 18.5%, are fully vaccinated.
New daily cases in the U.S.: 36,983, with 270 new deaths. That brings the total to 31.4 million cases . . . with more than 568,000 deaths . . . and more than 23.9 million who’ve now recovered.
Total cases worldwide: 131.9 million . . . with more than 2.8 million deaths . . . and more than 106.2 million people who’ve beaten the virus globally.
