I have to admire this woman’s priorities.
There’s a woman in Canada who bought a couch at a thrift store four years ago for $25. And she was recently going through the cushions and found a watch.
But it’s not just any watch: It’s a vintage Rolex Daytona 6241 “Paul Newman” variant. There were only around 3,000 of them made back in the late ’60s, and they’re some of the hardest watches to find for sale anywhere.
The woman called a watch dealer, and they examined it . . . and determined it’s authentic and worth at least $250,000.
So what’s the woman planning to do with the money? She told the watch dealer she’s going to, quote, “buy a house and get a boob job.”
(Here’s a picture of what the watch looks like.)
