MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition

May 19, 2013 1:00pm - 4:00pm

The Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run competition is coming to Wenatchee this Spring.  The free event will be held at Paul Thomas Sr. Field on Sunday, May 19, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and is sponsored locally by the Wenatchee AppleSox.  Kids who sign up and participate in the event will get a free t-shirt.

Pitch, Hit & Run  is the official competition of Major League Baseball.  This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the Nationals Finals at the 2013 MLB All-Star game.

All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of competition.

The registration form can be downloaded from www.applesox.com and turned back into the AppleSox office.
