Cordage Making
Ages: 10 years and older (Adults too!)
Dates: Saturday, March 9, 2013
Time: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Location: MAC Classroom, 401 S. Balsam
Cost: $20 per person, MAC Members $18
Instructor: Martin Schempp
Limit: 10 (3 minimum)
Create cordage (rope and string) using raw plants. All supplies are included.

Flintknapping
Ages: 12 years and older (Adults too!)
Dates: Saturday, March 9, 2013
Time: 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m.
Location: MAC Classroom, 401 S. Balsam
Cost: $25 per person, MAC Members $22.50
Instructor: Martin Schempp
Limit: 10 (5 minimum)
Learn to flintknapp with modern techniques to shape stone into arrowheads and projectile points. All supplies are included.

Stone Ax Head
Ages: 12 years and older (Adults too!)
Dates: Saturday, March 9, 2013
Time: 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Location: MAC Classroom, 401 S. Balsam
Cost: $25 per person, MAC Members $22.50
Instructor: Martin Schempp
Limit: 10 (3 minimum)
Create an ax head using the stone on stone method. All supplies are included.

The Moses Lake Museum & Art Center (MAC) is dedicated to exploring the human and natural history of the Columbia Basin and celebrating the works of regional artists. We are a non-profit institution supported by the City of Moses Lake and Friends of MAC.

MAC is located at 401 South Balsam Street in the new Moses Lake Civic Center. Hours are 11am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday, and admission is FREE.
